About Me

Kirial
I grew up in a tiny town in northeast Missouri, a relic of bygone days. I learned there how to be self sufficient; to find and make everything I needed, from foraging wild food to building my own house. Most of my skills I learned from people around me who had been doing it for decades using vintage materials and techniques. After moving away I met many new people and ideas that reflect the lessons I was taught back home. Most of these have new names, but it is reassuring to see familiar notions across all these miles. I feel very lucky that in such a short time as I have lived I have learned and shared so much with the people I love. I hope to have many more years to enjoy, in ever different places and cultures!

This blog is a collection of my projects created through this artistic alchemy. As such they are origional ideas, copyright to me (Kirial R. Daly) their creator, unless previous copyright or authorship applies to the item or process, as will be stated within each item's description. If you wish to re-publish or utelize for commercial profit either my unique process or items resulting you will need to contact me and get signed permission. I do however encourage anyone to use either my process or resulting items for their own personal entertainment or enjoyment. (basically, I worked hard and made it, it's mine. So long as you dont claim You made it or try to profit from my work, you can make it too!)
